By purchasing and consuming products from The Dry Side, you agree to the terms, conditions, and disclaimers outlined below.
1. Cottage Food Production & Licensing Notice
All The Dry Side artisan spice blends and dry meal kits are produced in a private residence under the Texas Cottage Food Law.
Per Texas state regulations, all products are sold directly to the consumer and are available exclusively via local pickup or personal delivery within the state of Texas. We do not ship products via commercial mail carriers (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) for online orders.
2. Customer Ingredients & Food Handling Liability
Our meal kits are sold as dry, shelf-stable bases. The consumer is entirely and solely responsible for the purchase, selection, refrigeration, storage, and safe handling of all fresh ingredients added to our kits (including but not limited to meats, poultry, seafood, dairy, liquids, and fresh produce).
The Dry Side is not liable for any illness, foodborne pathogens, food poisoning, or adverse health effects resulting from undercooked, improperly handled, contaminated, or spoiled fresh ingredients added by the consumer. We strongly advise all customers to follow standard USDA Safe Food Handling Guidelines when preparing meals.
3. Allergen Information
All ingredients used in our dry mixes are clearly listed on our product packaging and website product pages. Our products are prepared in a private home kitchen. If you or anyone in your household has a severe food allergy, please note that while we follow strict sanitation guidelines, our kitchen environment is not certified allergen-free.
4. Cooking Variations & Product Results
Because our dry kits and spice blends are finished, cooked, and customized by the consumer, The Dry Side cannot guarantee identical culinary results, spice levels, flavor profiles, or textures for every preparation. Variations in your chosen added ingredients, cooking appliances, altitude, and preparation methods will alter the final outcome.
5. Final Sale Policy
Due to the consumable nature of food products, all sales of spice blends and dry meal kits are final. If your package is compromised or damaged at the time of pickup or personal delivery, please notify us immediately so we can provide a replacement.
